Legends
The screenlight reverberates in my eyes, absorbing every thought and every gesture. Through it, my mind flows and my gestures become mechanized.
I observe and I see myself being absorbed, as if hypnotized. My fingers link me to the digital world: this electrical contact with the screen unites me to this other universe, coded. Constantly, I cross various spaces-time, and my images - my image? - also passes through various states of materiality.
With my instruments, I can extend time, freeze its flow. My images then become a reflection of what exists, but an evanescent reflection, an abstraction of the real.
In the series Luz azul I sketch a dreamlike-digital universe made of surfaces, reflections and attractions. A world that I encounter every day. So I wanted to take the time to contemplate it. I want to make it palpable, tangible, so that you can touch it with your eyes.
Sometimes I have the feeling that all light emits pixels, and that these two spaces, in the end, are not so far away. And there is always this light that attracts me, so beautiful, dazzling... I wanted to experiment with it so that reality would become blurred and your escape would be activated.
The fragility of images is born from the dilation of time, movement, their imprints and the sublimation of their flaws. I explore the possibilities of digital technology and try to give it a poetic aesthetic inviting you to travel.

The installation explores the possibilities of the digital by incorporating the artist’s body and gestures into the production process. While photography generally seeks to document the real, Piaget’s work addresses a specifically individual experience in which the boundaries between the visible and the invisible become blurred.
