INITIAL SITUATION
Exhibition of the artists Thalles Piaget, Nik Fischer and Nico Feer, residents of the Casa Suiza de la Boca from January to June 2024.
A cooperative work between the three artists, in participation with invited guests: Catriel Nievas, Elisa Garcia, Juan Sorrentino, Hernán Kerlleñevich, Macarena Aguilar Tau, Mauro Haddad, Raisa Aid, Sebastian Verea and Vero Mercado.
EXHIBITION
A space, a swing, sounds and vibrations, light and reflections.
Listen. Listen carefully. Do you hear the city? Listen carefully. Sounds come and go, like waves of the sea. Do you recognise what you hear? Can you explain what it is? How do you orient yourself outside, divide the city into different parts? Do you mark certain places, orient yourself by images, stories, moments, maybe sounds?
Spaces change, inside and outside. We change. The city changes too. We yield the streets to machines, the squares to cameras. Technology shapes our lives. We abandon places. Memories fade. Sounds disappear, giving way to others. Do you understand what happens? Always, every day, even at night? Feel it. Leave space for perception.
How does the space resonate? What resonates?
Vaivén is a fragmented city where signals oscillate from different perspectives. A sonorous and interactive experience that invites you to listen, contemplate and play with each one of them.
